OPM Ethiopia
Our presence in Ethiopia enables us to provide tailored services in climate resilience and sustainability, health, education, social protection, governance, and research and evidence to the Ethiopian government as well as regional and international organisations.
We have worked with the Government of Ethiopia, and we continue to engage with the African Union Commission, Africa Centres for Disease Control and Prevention, UN Economic Commission for Africa, WHO Regional Office for Africa, UNDP’s Regional Service Centre for Africa, International Labour Organization (ILO), and others. Through partnerships with funders like the UK’s Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office, USAID, European Union Delegation, GIZ, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Mastercard Foundation, and others, we ensure sustainable support for our initiatives.
Our team consists of experts specialising in diverse sectors of social and economic policy and governance. With extensive understanding of the local and global context, we bring expertise to every phase of the policy cycle. Leveraging our collective knowledge from various countries and sectors, along with innovative data-driven tools, we provide top-tier, evidence-based advice aimed at fostering lasting, positive change.
Our recent flagship project Building Resilience in Ethiopia has contributed to the development of policies and strategies to strengthen the government's ability to lead and deliver effective, self-financed, and accountable responses to climate and humanitarian challenges. The work was recognised by USAID for its effort to promote integrating climate consideration into muti-sectoral developmental planning.
