Why work with us

From our supportive culture to our global workplace, from professional development opportunities to our links with leading academic institutions, we believe that Oxford Policy Management is a rewarding place to work.

Our mission and the impact of our work is at the heart of everything we do. It is the power to make a difference that drives our employees and sets the culture of our organisation.

The benefits of working at Oxford Policy Management don’t end there. Below are just a few more reasons why we think you should apply to work with us.... But don’t just take our word for it; watch this short film to hear what our employees say about what sets Oxford Policy Management apart as a place to work.

Ongoing development: We are committed to helping our talented employees to develop personally and professionally. Build your career with us and you’ll benefit from training and learning opportunities, internal knowledge sharing, and a network of experienced colleagues.

Employee well-being: We offer a generous holiday entitlement, pension scheme and a range of global and local benefits, such as childcare vouchers and a popular cycle initiative for UK employees. We encourage a healthy work-life balance, and our working environment is informed by an open, supportive culture.

Our values: Our values define the way we behave towards our clients and each other - collectively and individually. They are at the heart of everything we do and how we do it:

  • We have positive impact: we strive to deliver work of the best quality and highest standards.  We aim for excellence every day in all that we do.
  • We are ambitious: we embrace innovation and creativity, seeking to continually improve how we do things. We are open to new ideas, enabling people to be the best.
  • Together we make a difference: we are stronger together, sharing knowledge and experience, helping others to solve problems and respecting and valuing differing views.

World-leading expertise: We grew out of the University of Oxford in 1979. We’ve grown even more since then, but we haven’t forgotten our academic roots. We maintain strong links with leading academic institutions globally, collaborating closely on knowledge transfer partnerships and research projects.

A global workplace: Our employees enjoy the cultural diversity, learning opportunities, and new working relationships that come with being a global organisation with offices across the world. At last count, we had more than 40 different staff nationalities with more than 60 languages spoken.

Diversity & inclusion: We strive to be a diverse and inclusive workplace for all our employees across the globe, ensuring a culture and environment exists which is free of discrimination and bias. We aspire to reflect and embody this through our behaviours, practices, and language. Diversity and inclusion in all forms is central to the success of our work and our ability to fulfil our purpose to improve lives through sustainable policy change.

Our independence: Our employees are a collective company shareholder under our Employee Benefits Trust. By retaining our independence in this way, we can ensure that those best-placed to achieve our mission of greater impact are empowered to do so.
