The OPM Europe team spearheads OPM´s relationship with EU clients and partners. In close cooperation with colleagues around the globe, the team delivers outstanding work for the European Commission's Directorate-General for International Cooperation and Development (DG DEVCO), the German Government (through GIZ and KfW Development Bank), and other European development agencies.
The team drives engagement with partners to implement programmes across the world and coordinates efforts with OPM teams in the field to deploy first-class technical expertise. We have extensive experience in project management, technical and operational backstopping, and engaging with donors.
Our work encompasses a wide range of thematic areas and includes projects such as a Public Financial Management Support Programme in Pakistan; advice on Social Protection programme pivoting during COVID-19; Technical Assistance to a Social Health Insurance initiative in Pakistan; an assessment on Development Finance Institutions’ impact measurement; and the evaluation of the NAMA (Nationally Appropriate Mitigation Actions) Support Projects within the NAMA Facility. We also conduct policy research and coordinate stable multi-country policy dialogue platforms.
