Maximising the impact of our work, and supporting our partners and clients to do the same, is central to all we do. We aim to achieve context-specific results, from the first ideas to learnings from large-scale policy programme evaluations.
Based in Washington D.C., our US team leads OPM’s relationships with US-based clients and partners – with a prominent focus on the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) and the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation.
We develop responses to key global development challenges in partnership with in-house technical expertise based across our network of international offices. We leverage our global teams’ deep-rooted understanding of local context and relationships with key institutions and organizations to deliver high-quality technical assistance and programs.
Our work encompasses a wide range of thematic areas including Health, Education, Governance, Climate, and Research & Evidence. A few examples of our work include:
- Running large multi-country research management projects aimed at improving the use of locally-driven data collection and analysis to inform better policy making;
- Evaluating and learning from a foundation’s global portfolio of health and education grants;
- Assessing the National Immunization Support Program (NISP) in Pakistan; and
- Creating a Development Finance Toolkit to help understand the macroeconomic impacts of Covid-19 on countries in sub-Saharan Africa and Asia.
