Ashna Shah

Ashna is an education professional with a diverse background spanning research, project management, salience building, business development, and social sector marketing and communications. Holding a Master of Education from Harvard Graduate School of Education, she specialised in Human Development and Education, focusing on Early Childhood Development. Her sub-interest lies in early childhood adversity and the impact of stress on child development and school readiness.

Formerly at Central Square Foundation, she led a comprehensive multi-state situational analysis on early childhood education in India, encompassing desk research, classroom observations, and curriculum analysis. With a keen focus on advocacy, Ashna has successfully supported in building salience for increased funding and policy reforms at both central and state levels, aiming to enhance the quality of early childhood education programs in India.

In her previous role at Educational Initiatives, Ashna spearheaded the conceptualisation, production and dissemination of the Ei Dialogues podcast series aimed at fostering dialogues to impact education development at scale.
