Nida Khan

Nida has over 15 years of experience in the development sector. She has extensive experience in education, specifically in providing technical assistance to provincial governments on increasing the access of marginalised children to education. She has helped design and improve enrolment programmes, which have been implemented across the province, including through the use of public private partnerships. 

Nida has also worked at length with rural, grassroots communities throughout Pakistan. She has developed detailed manuals and guidelines on organising and strengthening local community-based organisations and built capacities. She has carried out numerous assessments, evaluations and case studies documenting initiatives at the grassroots level, related to institutional strengthening, flood-response, microfinance and gender mainstreaming.

In addition to this, Nida has managed several large projects (including their technical and contractual oversight) for clients such as FCDO and the EU. She is well-versed in project and client compliance including grant management. Nida completed her Master’s in Development Studies from the School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS), University of London.
