Yamna Rashid

Yamna Rashid is a Quantitative Data Analyst with the Monitoring, Evaluation, Research, and Learning (MERL) team. She is adept at conducting comprehensive quantitative and qualitative analyses across diverse policy domains. 

With an extensive track record spanning over five years, she has showcased expertise in conducting impactful studies focusing on impact evaluation, statistical policy analysis, logical framework design, and economic development initiatives. She is proficient in leveraging advanced analytical tools and methodologies to mine and interpret data, contributing substantively to evidence-based decision-making. 

Yamna is a graduate from Cornell University (USA) and has previously worked with the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), International Finance Corporation (IFC, World Bank Group), Global Fund for Women (GFW) and other organisations. She has led key initiatives in designing robust logical frameworks, devising innovative data collection strategies, and executing rigorous statistical analyses, contributing significantly to shaping effective policies and driving positive socio-economic changes.  
She has extensive experience in developing strategic analysis and measurement framework for programmes, tools development for spot checks, value-for-money component development, designing data collection tools, and analysing data. Her current key projects include FCDO funded Data and Research in Education (DARE), Aawaz II, UNICEF funded post-flood assessment of children with disabilities, EU funded evaluation of Rule of Law programme, and KfW funded feasibility study on social protection for health and climate.
