Susan Lee

Susan Lee is a passionate development specialist. She has over 17 years' experience managing innovation, community development and economic integration programs in the Asia Pacific region.

She has led multi-disciplinary teams through developing time bound work plans, managing budgets (up to AUD45 million) and communicating results to achieve impact in range of sectors including health, governance, law and justice. She is an advocate for and promotes the importance of child safe and inclusive practices and compliance with relevant principles and legislation in program delivery.  

Susan has worked with a range of stakeholders including government agencies, private sector organisations and local communities to create multi-stakeholder solutions to complex social and politically sensitive issues.

Providing monitoring, evaluation and learning support in Vietnam

The Vietnam Support Unit (VSU) provides agile technical support to the Australian Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade in delivering effective official development assistance aligned with Vietnam's socio-economic development goals. Through the VSU, we support with policy advice, program design, Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning, research, quality assurance at both portfolio and investment level and across key sectors of economic development.
