Since 2006, we have worked with various partners in Indonesia and expanded to Southeast Asia region. We opened our office in 2011 to better support long-term activities in the region. For almost two decades, we built our experience and technical expertise in a broad range of sectors including climate and resilience, governance, social protection, research, and monitoring and evaluation. We have worked with key multilateral organisations and donors such as the Foreign Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO), the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT), the World Bank, GIZ, Asian Development Bank (ADB), and various UN Agencies.
Our team has delivered rigorous long-term projects in partnership with the Government of Indonesia and its development partners through provision of technical assistance and studies. Our key projects in the area include improving forest sector management (Multi-stakeholder Forestry Programme 3/MFP3), delivering capacity building to support Indonesia’s flagship conditional cash transfer programme (Building Inclusive Social Assistance/BISA), and conducting the large-scale Survey on Financial Inclusion and Access (SOFIA). Recently, we have completed the Value for Money (VfM) evaluations for PROSPERA, a DFAT-flagship economic governance program in Indonesia, and a study to further understand systematic barriers and contextual challenges related to Civil and Population Registration Services (CPRS) amongst vulnerable and marginalised groups. Our extensive network and in-depth understanding of local context have also enabled us to deliver impact evaluations through qualitative and quantitative assessments from Aceh to Papua.
