As well as sector specialisms, we are also able to draw on the cross-cutting expertise of our dedicated teams throughout the business. This multi-sectoral approach gives us a deep understanding of a county’s political economy, meaning we can better research, design, implement, and evaluate impactful public policy.

Our teams of cross-cutting specialists, include:

• Research and evidence: our team members in monitoring, evaluation, and learning; research management; and data innovation, bring together communities of practice to bridge the gap between evidence and practical policy delivery.  
• Macroeconomics and diagnostics: delivered through the Office of the Chief Economist, enhancing the impact of our work in development economics.
• Gender equality and social inclusion: shaping just, inclusive, and sustainable public policies that empower women and marginalised groups across sectors we work in.
