OPM has been working in Pakistan since the mid-90s and established its office in 2007. Since then, we have developed extensive expertise in delivering projects across the policy cycle, including implementation of large-scale programmes, evaluations, and support to project delivery in Pakistan.
Our experience in Pakistan has given us a true understanding of the development landscape. We have worked across all levels of government, whether federal, provincial, or district. At the federal level, we continue to work with the ministries of Finance, Planning and Development, Health services, Climate change, and Poverty Alleviation Division. At the provincial and district levels, we work with Finance as well as Planning and Development ministries in all four provinces. More specifically, we have worked with the health department in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Punjab, and Gilgit Baltistan; Education department in Sindh; and the Environment department in Punjab.
With the aim of constant growth and learning, we have carried out more than 200 projects in Pakistan for a spectrum of donors and development partners including FCDO, EU, World Bank, GiZ, KfW, and UN agencies.
