Dee Hartvigsen

Dee holds overall responsibility for strategy and business growth of OPM's Australia office, focusing on the Indo-Pacific region. She has over 20 years' experience in international development as a senior manager in programme management and business development, delivering large and complex development initiatives across Asia and the Pacific.   

Dee has delivered large and complex development initiatives across Asia and the Pacific on behalf of DFAT, multilaterals, and private sector clients. She has experience of working in Solomon Islands, Tonga, Samoa, Papua New Guinea, Indonesia, Timor Leste, Vietnam, Cambodia, Sri Lanka, China, and Nepal. She holds an MA in International Studies, and a BA in Asian Studies, Indonesia Studies and Development Studies.

Providing monitoring, evaluation and learning support in Vietnam

The Vietnam Support Unit (VSU) provides agile technical support to the Australian Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade in delivering effective official development assistance aligned with Vietnam's socio-economic development goals. Through the VSU, we support with policy advice, program design, Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning, research, quality assurance at both portfolio and investment level and across key sectors of economic development.
