Nadia Casans

Leading project delivery at our Pakistan office since October 2022, Nadia oversees a team of eight members and manages 30+ multi-donor projects, ensuring successful execution and coordination across our Pakistan office. Her responsibilities include human resource development, process management and re-engineering, financial management, inter- and intradepartmental coordination, client and stakeholder management, quality assurance, and risk management.

Previously, as a Project Manager for the Public Financial Management Support Programme Pakistan from March 2017 to September 2022, Nadia established comprehensive project management frameworks and ensured compliance with EU directives. Similarly, as a Senior Project Officer for Sindh Education Non-State Actors during the same period, she developed the Value for Money framework and oversaw funds management reporting to the FCDO, facilitating the provision of quality education to marginalised areas.

Earlier roles include Consultant on the Sub-National Governance Programme, where she conducted perception surveys and drafted district profiles for social development purposes, and Public Financial Management Advisor for a European Union-funded project, where she drafted district development plans for several districts.

She started as a Business Development Officer at Attock Petroleum Limited, driving business growth by identifying new opportunities, preparing bid documents, negotiating contracts, and overseeing post-export documentation processes.

With an ACCA affiliation and an MBA in Finance and IT from Bahria University, Islamabad, Nadia graduated as a Gold Medallist with a CGPA of 3.88. As a freelance consultant, she has engaged in various World Bank assignments, leading a case study on the transition of the Benazir Income Support Programme to accrual accounting and contributing to additional financing proposals for the World Bank CRISP programme.
