Private and financial sector
In many low- and middle-income countries poor market access is compounded by a shortage of skills and capacity, driving up recruitment costs and increasing reliance on imported expertise. Private sector development strategies need to be underpinned by an in-depth understanding of local business landscape and culture, as well as rigorous analysis of potential impacts.
We work with governments, regulators, development institutions, and the private sector to help devise and define relevant approaches to building strong, sustainable, and inclusive financial services sectors.
