Durre’ Mahmood is a climate policy specialist in our Climate, Resilience and Sustainability practice. Her core expertise lies in multi-themed developmental cooperation technical assistance in climate adaptation, mitigation, sustainable livelihoods programmes and green, low carbon and resilient enterprises. At OPM she is leading and supporting multi-donor technical assistance programmes (FCDO, AFD, GIZ, EU, WBG, GCF, DFAT) for central and subnational governments, providing third party MEL support in WASH, DRR, Urban Resilience and actively supported feasibilities/ scoping studies in industrial decarbonization, carbon markets, health and climate nexus, resilient social protection, climate smart agriculture, blue economy and building urban resilience across South Asia and the Pacific.
The project aims to strengthen Pakistan's climate resilience through tailored adaptation strategies in water security, urban planning, and agriculture sectors, ensuring sustainable, locally led and transformative solutions.
